Yes. Cancel from the billing page; we prorate to the day. No retention calls, no exit fees. ### Where does my data live? Submissions and files live in our primary EU region by default. Files are stored in private, encrypted object storage. ### What is the maximum file size? Up to 10 MB per file and 5 files per submission. Storage caps are per plan: 5 GB on Pro, 50 GB on Team, unlimited on Scale. The Free plan has no file uploads. ### Can I use my own domain for the form action? On Pro and up you can verify a custom domain and serve the ingestion endpoint from a CNAME of your own host - useful for branded URLs and stricter Content Security Policy setups. Pro and Team allow 1 verified domains; Scale is unlimited. ### I'm coming from Formspree, Basin, or Getform. Can I migrate? Drop-in replacement for the action URL. Most teams migrate by swapping the form's action attribute. Existing webhook receivers keep working - Formspring uses industry-standard HMAC-SHA256 headers. ### What languages and frameworks are supported? Anything that can POST. Snippets ship for HTML, React, Vue, Next.js, Astro, SvelteKit, Nuxt, vanilla JS, Python (requests), PHP (curl), and Ruby (Net::HTTP). ### Is this the same Formspring as the old Q&A platform? No. This Formspring is a form backend for static sites, JAMstack apps, and marketing teams. It is built by Pixel & Process UG in Lübeck, Germany. The Q&A platform Formspring (later Spring.me) was a separate product that shut down in 2015 and has no connection to this service. ### Do I need a credit card to start? No. The Free plan never asks for one. Payment details are only entered when upgrading. ### What counts toward my allowance? Every stored submission to a form, survey or funnel in your workspace counts as one, and the three share one monthly allowance that resets at the start of each calendar month. Bookings, polls, feedback boards and Response Desk conversations do not use it. Free includes 50 submissions per month. Pro includes 5,000, Team 25,000, and Scale is unlimited. There are no per-submission overage fees. ### What happens when I reach the limit? New submissions are refused with HTTP 402, so the sender knows they were not accepted, and Formspring notifies you. Nothing already stored is deleted. Submissions resume at the start of the next calendar month or as soon as you upgrade. If a paid subscription lapses, the Free allowance of 50 a month applies until payment is recovered. ### Which plan includes email conversations? The submissions inbox is on every plan: it holds each submission with a status and an owner. Replying to people by email, response goals and the knowledge base are part of Response Desk, which is included with Scale. ### When does an upgrade take effect? Switching plans on an active subscription takes effect straight away and the difference is prorated. Starting a paid plan from Free goes through checkout first, and the plan applies once payment is confirmed. ### Is there a discount for annual billing? Yes. Paying yearly costs less than twelve months at the monthly price: Pro saves 16%, Team saves 16%, Scale saves 16%. Pick yearly at checkout. ### What currency are prices in, and is tax included? Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax. Checkout does not calculate or add VAT or sales tax at the moment. It collects your billing address and an optional tax ID (for example a VAT number) and records them on your invoice.
